How do we work together?
You & us
You
The first steps have been taken in your Odoo journey. Together we have set up the important basic modules and the Bizz Manager StarterKit formula is successfully completed. Now it is time to sit together and implement the further steps. If there's no other way, let's develop some things specifically for your business.
Project Description.
Together we finish the list in a few meetings. During these, we divide it up into three major different tasks:
1. Adding new basic modules
2. Purchase third-party modules that meet your organization's needs
3. Define customization for our team of developers.
You provide a new scope of work. In this document you clearly state exactly what functionality you want that is not available from Odoo or app developers by default. This document will be used to create a project quote to have any developments done by our team
The key people will extensively test the new installations and any customization in the test environments.
You make the necessary adjustments to the data that needs to be imported. You transfer the knowledge to the appropriate colleagues and give instructions to manually enter non-importable data on the live version.
We create a new test environment and transfer what we set up together in the live.
We install the new modules and developments in the test environment and go over the functionality together to reach approval.
Ongoing deliverables are billed after each approval from your key people.
When all prescribed items are tested and approved, they are transferred to the rest of the team. Any comments and findings can still be addressed here.
A final hands-on training starts for your key people. Here we continue to finalize the knowledge in your team. The training is conducted on the test. Any new adjustments are made in the live version. In that case, it will be written down who can still work with what.
After the final training and the given word that all adjustments and tasks have been completed by everyone, you do a final test with your team. Then you give additional explanations and transfer any missing knowledge to your colleagues.
You decide when to finish. Here you are expected to approve the final delivery. You are now live!
The monthly or quarterly budget will be redefined. This will depend on the knowledge gained and capabilities of your own team. Your key people also play an important role here. For example, if they can provide first-line support themselves.
You may start a service contract which is set on a quarterly budget. With a SoHo Visionary, this usually starts from € 2,500.00 to
€ 4,000.00 per quarter. This for a project of 10 to 25 employees and with at least two designated key persons.
Expanding Support & Follow-up
Security and staying up-to-date is a big deal for your environment. After all, such projects never come to a complete end. New opportunities keep presenting themselves. With good cooperation, we make your organization grow. The same goes for your software environment.
De doorlooptijd van het project is volgens ons van enkele belangrijke factoren afhankelijk:
- The data provided is clean and in a usable format
- Employees are following along with your vision and are given time to master the applications in a test environment (practice)
- Your vision was developed, and it was written out in the form of a project using a Project Initiation Document (PID).
- The project is predetermined in the agendas of all involved employees. And the schedule is not of secondary importance.
- No side roads are taken during the project. Any new requirements that come up are budgeted and scheduled after the original plan.
- It is best to limit the number of people making decisions during the project. There is no maximum, but for a project of this size, two people is sufficient.
